We collect only the minimum necessary information required to create your account, manage your wallet balance, and deliver your SMS verification codes:

• Authentication Data: When you sign up via Google Sign-In or Email/Password, we authenticate your account using Google Firebase Authentication. We receive your email address and a unique Firebase User ID (UID).
• Wallet & Account Details: We store your unique UID, email, and live Naira (₦) wallet balance in secure Google Cloud Firestore.
• Order & Transaction History: When you top up funds or purchase a virtual number, we log the transaction amount (₦), selected service, country, assigned temporary phone number, and received SMS codes in your personal transaction record.

To provide instant SMS code arrival across 150+ countries, NastySMS connects directly to TRUSTED GLOBAL TELECOMMUNICATION & VOIP CARRIERS and licensed international routing partners.

When you request a virtual number, our backend interacts with these telecom networks via secure server-side APIs to allocate your temporary number and fetch your incoming verification codes. None of your personal information (such as your email or real identity) is ever shared with upstream network operators.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely for core marketplace operations:

• Providing and managing your NastySMS user account and secure session.
• Processing your Naira wallet deposits, top-ups, and automated number purchases.
• Routing and displaying your temporary virtual phone numbers and SMS verification codes.
• Automating instant 100% balance refunds whenever an SMS code is not delivered within the timeout window.
• Providing customer assistance and manual deposit verification via WhatsApp support.

All data is securely hosted and managed via Google Cloud Firebase infrastructure with strict security rules:

• Encrypted in Transit: All communication between your device, our website, and Firebase servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS (HTTPS).
• User Isolation: Our database security rules guarantee that each user can only view and access their own account details, wallet transactions, and purchased SMS codes.
• No Plaintext Passwords: Passwords are never stored in plaintext by NastySMS; they are securely hashed and managed directly by Google Firebase Auth.
